Aug 08, 2021 The inspiration for my pedestal was from a plan on Ana White’s site. I decided to change it up and create free plans to build a pedestal for a washer and dryer to fit my needs. I can’t get 4 4 posts that are untreated so I created the posts from two 2x4s that were laminated together then ripped on the table saw to 3″ wide.

Jan 14, 2014 The laundry pedestal cost us around $125 to build. That’s less than purchasing one pedestal! You can find detailed instructions for these plans here. We started by building two frames. The top frame (the one that the washer and dryer sit on) will …
Jan 10, 2012 Back in October my husband and I decided to finally build a washer and dryer platform (pedestal) for our front loading washer and dryer. When we initially go them we decided against purchasing the matching pedestals that came with them because they didn’t quite fit into the space we had and we didn’t want to move the cabinets above them up.
Apr 22, 2018 I really dislike bending down to load the Laundry Machine. A great way to fix that is to add a Washer / Dryer Pedestal to bring them to a natural standing height. You can also use the bottom shelf for storage, laundry baskets, and laundry detergents. This is a tutorial on how to build Laundry … Continue reading Washer Dryer Laundry Pedestal DIY
The first step of the woodworking project is to build the sides of the washer dryer pedestal. As you can easily notice in the diagram, we recommend you to build the les out of 4 4 lumber and the rest of the frame out of 2 4 lumber. Drill pocket holes at both ends of the supports and secure them to the legs by using 2 1/2″ screws.
The first step of the woodworking project is to build the base of the washer dryer pedestal. As you can easily notice in the plans, we recommend you to cut the 2 4 slats at the right size and to lock them together with 2 1/2″ galvanized screws. Check if the corners are right angled by using a carpentry square.
